STAR 98.3 and Airvantage Heating and Cooling Launch Socktober: A Month-Long Campaign to Warm Feet and Hearts

STAR 98.3 is thrilled to announce Socktober, a month-long event dedicated to collecting socks for those in need. Throughout October, STAR 98.3, in partnership with Airvantage Heating and Cooling, will be hosting a sock drive to support local charities Ruth & Naomi’s Mission in Chilliwack and Cyrus Centre in Abbotsford.

Socktober is designed to provide warmth and comfort to individuals who are facing hardships. The campaign encourages community members to contribute new socks, which will be collected at various drop-off points throughout the city. These donations of new socks and gently used warm clothing will then be distributed to Ruth & Naomi’s and Cyrus Centre, organizations known for their commitment to supporting vulnerable populations.
