Two people nearby called 911 and cared for the woman while they waited for emergency responders.

“Unfortunately, the 27‑year‑old Chilliwack woman was pronounced deceased at the scene,” said an RCMP statement Tuesday, adding that the children were not physically harmed.

Police say the BC Coroners service is investigating the woman’s death, but there’s “no indication of this being anything other than a tragic and unforeseen event.”
