While the weather forecast on Monday may have been scary, it’s looking more like a treat as we approach Halloween this Friday.

According to CityNews meteorologist Natasha Ramsahai, rain that was expected to last until at least 8 p.m. will now be tapering off around 2 to 3 p.m.

Winds are still expected to be high with gust up to 60 km/hr and temperatures are expected to be between 6 C and 7 C.

“This is a change to the trick-or-treating forecast, [it’s] now staying dry,” shared Ramsahai.

The rain is still projected to hit Toronto on Thursday, steadying on-and-off in the afternoon and getting heavier through the evening, potentially up to 35 millimetres.
