Two teens are now facing charges after a daylight robbery incident at Waterloo’s Conestoga Mall.
It was on Monday morning around 3 p.m. when Waterloo regional police responded to a reported disturbance at Conestoga Mall.
Police said that a male youth reported having property stolen from him after being assaulted by two other youths.
That victim is said to have sustained minor physical injuries as a result of the robbery.
Police said the involved suspects fled the area prior to their arrival, and were later located and arrested on Seagram Drive in Waterloo.
The Kitchener teens, a 13-year-old and a 15-year-old, have since been charged with robbery.
The two accused were held in police custody for a bail hearing.
