Police got a two-for-one deal in Kitchener when it comes to catching allegedly impaired drivers.
Officers from the Waterloo Regional Police Service were out conducting enforcement on Fairway Road South, around 10:30 Wednesday night, when they spotted a vehicle being driven dangerously.
Police said it was drifting in and out of its lane, almost hitting another vehicle.
They pulled the vehicle over into a parking lot, and the 42-year-old Kitchener man behind the wheel was arrested and charged with impaired driving and dangerous operation.
But while officers were making that arrest, they spotted a different vehicle in the same parking lot that seemed to be stuck.
When one of the officers went over to help, they noticed that the driver seemed to be impaired, too.
That 25-year-old Kitchener man was also arrested and charged with the exact same offences as the first driver.
