It was a rough night for the Kitchener Rangers in Flint, as they fell to the Firebirds 4-1 making for their second loss in a row.

But it was a respectable showing from the East Avenue Blues managing to get 33 shots on net, 10 more than the Firebirds, but they struggled to turn those shots into goals.

The first two periods were a strong showing from Flint, getting three unanswered goals to secure a dominant lead over the Rangers.

Christian Humphreys did manage to score the loan goal for the Blue Shirts in the third to put them on the board, but Flint would get a fourth to secure the win.

The Rangers are looking to turn things around tonight as they continue their road trip and head to Saginaw to take on the Spirit.
