The OPP are looking for whoever fired several gunshots at a house and vehicle on a residential street in Paris.

Brant County OPP said a report came in at about 3:00 a.m. Sunday of shots fired on Heming Street, in a newer subdivision on the eastern edge of town.

Police said a dark-coloured SUV with an unknown number of people inside drove up to a house and fired several rounds, striking and damaging the home and the vehicle in the driveway.

No one was hurt in the situation.

Police said this was an isolated incident.

There’s no word yet from officers about suspect descriptions or any more details about the suspect vehicle.

Police want everyone in the area to check their home security cameras to see if they have any images that could be useful to their investigation.

Anyone who knows anything about what happened is urged to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122, or reach out anonymously to Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or clicking here.
