Highway 7/8 reopens through Kitchener after truck rolls into ditch

A stretch of Highway 7/8 through Kitchener had to be temporarily closed to traffic on Thursday due to a rollover crash.

OPP said a transport truck rolled into the ditch shortly before 11 a.m.

It’s not clear if any injuries were sustained.

Police closed eastbound lanes of the highway from Trussler Road to Fischer-Hallman Road for the clean-up.

Eastbound lanes reopened around 2 p.m.
