Guelph police have a few questions for the man who tried to offer an 11-year-old boy a ride on Monday.
Police say the boy was sitting outside the West End Community Center when a man in a white Chevy pick-up truck got out and approached him.
The man said the boy’s mother had asked if he could give her son a ride because he was at the wrong arena.
The boy was not buying the story and refused, and the man left.
He is described as white with a pale face, 5’9″ with an average build, in his 60s. He had brown or red hair, freckles and a beard.
At the time, he was wearing a maroon t-shirt and blue shorts.
The truck is said to have rust around the rear wheels and possibly a dent on the passenger side door.
