Lunenburg RCMP have charged a pair of men after seizing two stolen vehicles and a gun.
On Feb. 12, officers investigated a report of an abandoned vehicle, a grey Honda Civic, on Mill Lake Road in Hubbards, where police determined it was reported stolen.
According to Mounties, while on scene, a second vehicle approached and two men fled from inside it on foot after seeing the officers.
Police said one of the men was arrested immediately, while RCMP dog services and drones were used to search for the second man.
He was found about an hour later and arrested near Highway 103, around Exit 6.
Police said the Hyundai Elantra was also reported stolen, adding officers found a stolen firearm inside it.
Malik Antonio Robinson, 25, of North York, Ont., and Abdiqafar Ahmed Ali, 20, of Coquitlam, B.C., each had a first court appearance on Tuesday at Bridgewater Provincial Court.
Mounties said both are facing multiple charges including possession of property obtained by crime, obstruction, and multiple weapons offences.
