A popular Halifax-based brewery is closing its doors after near a decade.
Announced on Wednesday over social media, 2 Crows Brewing will be shutting down operations as of March 8.
In the post, the company says March 7 will be the last day taprooms will be open to the public.
“It has been about more than beer, it’s been about community,” the company said in an Instagram post. “About creating a space where everyone feels welcome, included, and comfortable. It’s been an incredible ride, and we’re so grateful to our staff, customers, and the Nova Scotia craft beer community for every pint, laugh, and memory along the way.”
No specific reason was given for the closure, however management says it was a “hard decision.”
Since 2017, 2 Crows has been a fixture in the Nova Scotia brewing community with a popular taproom on Brunswick Street.
The brewery opened a second location on Oxford Street in December 2023.
