Cyclist seriously injured in NW Calgary crash

A cyclist was rushed to hospital with serious injuries on Friday afternoon following a crash in northwest Calgary.

Emergency crews were called to 10 Street NW near Sait Way around 2:45 p.m. for reports of a collision.

Police say the cyclist suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

10 Street NW was shut down in both directions between 13 Avenue and 5 Avenue. The road reopened before 5 p.m.

The investigation is ongoing.
