Three women are in hospital after reports of an assault on a northeast Calgary Transit bus on Friday, police say.

Officers say they responded to “multiple females attacking another female” on Marbank Drive and Marbank Way just before 7 p.m.

A woman was found with non-life-threatening injuries, and two more were also found a short distance later with non-life-threatening injuries.

While the three were taken to hospital, investigators don’t have a suspect. They are sifting through the bus’s CCTV footage to find one.

A motive is also being investigated.

Police add one of the women isn’t known to the other two.
