An elderly woman is recovering in hospital after being hit by a vehicle in a marked crosswalk over the weekend.
Calgary police say it happened shortly after 3:30 p.m. Saturday at a three-way stop in the parking lot of Northland Villages Shoppes near the Walmart.
She was reported to have life-threatening injuries but has since been upgraded to serious and stable condition.
The Calgary Police Service Traffic Section is investigating the collision.
