The Calgary Fire Department’s arson unit has been called in after two vehicles started fire overnight, mere minutes after each other.
The first was at 1:56 a.m. Wednesday on 54 Street NE in Castleridge, according to Calgary police.
Just minutes later, at 1:59 a.m., a second vehicle fire was reported on Saddlecrest Circle NE.
Police say both of the vehicles were fully engulfed.
No injuries have been reported.
Although the arson unit is investigating both of the vehicle fires, no information has been provided as to whether the events are connected.
