Joe is back from surgery & is slowly feeling better but Kirby thinks he might be milking it. Throwdown Thursday puts the Jets against the Stars. The man. The myth. The legend. Joe returns to the show! The Winnipeg Jets need our support going into Game 5 tomorrow after losing to Dallas last night. No one missed Joe more than Kirby. Today we celebrate Kirby’s birthday even though she takes the whole month. Even though Joe is still off resting after having some minor surgery, he shares well wishes. A heat wave in May is something Winnipeg isn’t used to, but we’ll take it! Next week we have a chance for you to be in London for Ozzy’s last show. How about that Jet’s game in Dallas & that goal!? We made it to Friday & it’s a busy weekend! Joe is off until next week. Jets play Dallas in Game 2 of the 2nd round series tonight in Winnipeg. The sun is out in full force this weekend with temps in the 30’s, Curbside Giveaway & don’t forget it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday! For people who don’t like dirty fingers, there are gloves for eating. Phil pulls out a last-minute win on the “Name Game”. Imagine stuffing a whole chicken into a can. Would you eat it? We talk interesting foods. Joe is off for a bit while he recovers from a minor surgery, so Philly & Kirby are left to run the show. He even left them notes of things to remember. In “Throwdown Thursday” it’s the viral debate of who would win between a gorilla & 100 men. Philly can’t stop talking about donuts. PLUS, Hailey won the $10,000 jackpot by guessing the second celebrity voice in “Who The Hell Is That”.

It’s Game 1 of the second round of playoffs tonight with the Jets taking on Dallas – you can feel the excitement in the city! There are a number of movies being filmed in Winnipeg right now, including a Christmas slasher. Speaking of movies… one of Joe’s favorites has been turned into a musical. Who knew Liam Neeson could sing!? Kirby makes herself laugh during “Would You Rather Wednesday” so Philly slowed it down. Winnipeg broke weather records over the weekend & we are enjoying it! Remember the Block Parent program? The Winnipeg Jets wrapped the first round of the playoff’s last night with a WIN against the St. Louis Blues & advance to take on Dallas next! We know we’re not the only one’s feeling the “Jet Lag” this morning after that intense game. Productivity will be at an all-time low today… Imagine taking up pressure washing as a hobby.
