
Police in Surrey are thanking the public for their help after a woman was sexually assaulted while walking to a bus stop on Tuesday morning.
The Surrey Police Service (SPS) says the woman was walking toward the stop on King George Boulevard near 98 Avenue when she was approached by a man who asked to use her phone.

“The victim, who suffered minor injuries, fought off the suspect, and he fled northbound,” said Sgt. Tige Pollock in a news release on Wednesday.
Investigators have released images of the suspect.



He’s described as a tall, skinny man with black hair. He was wearing a black t-shirt, maroon shorts, and black and white shoes.
