The southbound direction was also temporarily reduced to one lane.

In an update around 10:30 a.m., police say four vehicles were involved in the crash.

“At least two people have gone to hospital. Their injuries have been determined to be minor,” said a Surrey Police Service spokesperson.

The cause is reportedly still under investigation.

Delays along King George Boulevard were heavy from as far back as 132 Street.

Out of New West, traffic along McBride Boulevard was pushed to Blackberry Drive.

The crash cleared around 7:45 a.m. but delays continued throughout the morning.

Drivers looking to avoid congestion in both directions can take the Port Mann Bridge.
