One person was taken to hospital in serious condition after a crash in Mission Friday evening, according to BC Emergency Health Services (BCEHS).

Paramedics were called to the area of Lougheed Highway and Haig Street shortly after 11 p.m. after reports of a crash.

“One ambulance with advanced care paramedics and three ambulances with primary care paramedics responded,” BCEHS said.

“Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment and transported one patient to hospital in serious condition.”

Photos taken from the scene appear to show a black Jeep Compass being towed away, but it is unconfirmed whether this is related to the crash.
