“Upon arrival, front-line officers found a home fully engulfed in flames,” said a release.

Police say the home was actually a construction site for a new home and was therefore unoccupied.

The Langley City Fire Rescue Service is also investigating the cause of the fire and Mounties are asking for the public’s help.

Anyone who was in the area between 11:30 p.m. and 12:30 a.m. and could have dashcam footage is asked to contact the Langley RCMP and quote file 2025-21746.

Mounties say there may be ongoing traffic disruptions in the area while the investigation is underway.
