The Toronto Police Service Homicide Unit is investigating the death of a woman near High Park late Friday afternoon.
Officers were called to Glenlake and High Park Avenues just before 6 p.m. after an injured woman was discovered. She was transported to the hospital and later pronounced dead.
Duty Insp. Errol Watson says officers found the woman inside a vehicle.
Police have identified her as 21-year-old Serenity Brown of Toronto.

Watson would not go into detail about the woman’s injuries. However, he indicated that there may be a male involved in this incident.
“The victim was having an interaction with a male, and that male was seen leaving the area,” said Watson.
No suspect description was given.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the police.
