A 34-year-old woman is dead following a single-vehicle crash in an industrial area of Scarborough.
Toronto police say a pick-up truck was heading north on Markham Road, south of Finch Avenue East, just before 7 p.m. Wednesday, when the driver lost control and crashed the vehicle.
The woman, who was a passenger in a vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver, a 47-year-old man, was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police say Traffic Services continues to investigate.
