Two workers injured in explosion in Vaughan

Two workers were injured in an industrial explosion in Vaughan, York Regional Police say.

Officers were called to Bradwick Drive and Highway 7 around 3:20 p.m. on Tuesday for reports of an explosion.

Two employees were injured in the incident, and one man was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

YRP say the second worker’s injuries are considered minor.

Foul play is not suspected, and the Ministry of Labour is investigating.
