The TTC says an issue causing some fare gates at subway stations to not accept certain card payments has been resolved.

The payment methods affected were debit, credit, Apple and Google Wallet. Presto card payments were working during the outage.

A spokesperson says a server issue was identified as the problem impacting all stations but some gates were working at most of the stations.

The transit agency states stationed fare collectors and agents at the main gates of all stations to assist customers. Riders were directed to the fare gates that are working to prevent lines and crowding.
