Missing 12-year-old boy from city's east end found safe

Toronto police say a missing 12-year-old boy from the city’s east end has been found.

Officers say he was last seen on Thursday around 3:20 p.m., in the Pharmacy Avenue and Danforth Avenue area. Police had set up a command post at a school in the area on Friday.

Police say he was located around 1:40 p.m. on Friday.

Police have not said where he was found but his parents told CityNews they believe he was located at Victoria Park Avenue and Steeles Avenue.

According to CityNews’ reports at the scene, the boy is back at home with his family.
