19-year-old males injured in North York shooting: police

Two 19-year-olds were injured in a late-night shooting in North York as police searched for multiple suspects.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the Jane Street and Driftwood Avenue area around 10:30 p.m. Monday.

Toronto paramedics transported one male victim, aged 19, to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. A second 19-year-old male was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

Officers say multiple male suspects fled in a dark-coloured vehicle. One was last seen wearing red clothing, while the other was seen in dark-coloured clothing.

The investigation is ongoing.
