The Toronto Police Service (TPS) says a male pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in North York.
Officers say it happened at a Shell gas station at around 5:30 a.m. in the Bathurst Street and Finch Avenue West area.
Investigators say the 61-year-old pedestrian was laying in the driveway when a 19-year-old man operating a white Ford cube van when it made a right turn into the parking lot and struck the pedestrian.
He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.
The driver remained at the scene, according to police.
