
A 67-year-old man is dead after a stabbing in Scarborough on Tuesday evening, police say.
The incident happened around 6:50 p.m. at 4301 Kingston Road, in the West Hill neighbourhood.
Police responded to reports of a person that has been stabbed. When they arrived at the building, they found a man with stab wounds.
Officers later said the man had been pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 67-year-old Robert Dawson from Toronto.
Police have identified the suspect as 43-year-old Natasha MacCallum, of no fixed address. She has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder.
MacCallum was scheduled to appear in court at the Toronto Regional Bail Centre on Wednesday.
Toronto police Duty Inspector Jonathan Rose says the suspect and victim are known to each other.
He also confirmed that the incident did occur inside the building, but won’t say what led up to the stabbing.
