A 24-year-old man is dead following a crash involving a truck and a motorcycle on the Gardiner Expressway on Friday evening.
The Toronto Police Service says several motorcycles were on the eastbound portion of the highway when one of them struck the back of a Ford F-150 pick-up truck at Islington Avenue just after 7:30 p.m.
The 24-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities say the 52-year-old driver of the pick-up truck remained at the scene and did not sustain any injuries.
An investigation into the circumstances of the crash is on-going.
