Const. Tyler Bell-Morena said that two males got into some type of altercation in the lobby of an apartment building that escalated into one being stabbed. The other male fled.

Police don’t know what sparked the fight or if the victim or suspect knew each other.

“We’ve ascertained there are cameras present. I don’t know if they actually retained the footage yet; that’s going to be something we’re very interested in obtaining,” Const. Bell-Morena said.

Authorities are asking for any witnesses or anyone with footage to come forward. The investigation is ongoing.
