Man, 22, suffers life-threatening injuries in Black Creek shooting

A 22-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in North York’s Black Creek neighbourhood.

Toronto Police Service (TPS) officers were called to Driftwood Avenue and Driftwood Court just before 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

The male victim, aged 22, was taken to the hospital via an emergency run with life-threatening injuries, where he remains in critical but stable condition.

No suspect descriptions have been released.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police responded to a separate double shooting hours later in North York’s Flemingdon Park, where two victims, aged 17 and 18, suffered critical injuries. It’s unclear if the two shooting incidents are connected.
