TTC subway service has resumed between Ossington and Keele stations on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth after a security incident brought trains to a standstill in the heart of the evening rush.

The outage lasted around 45 minutes and shuttle buses were summoned.

It was the second time today that issues affected service on Line 2 Bloor-Danforth.

Signal-related issues led to an earlier outage on Line 2 Thursday morning.

Trains weren’t operating between Broadview and Victoria Park stations for about two hours before resuming at around 12:30 p.m.
