Hamilton police are investigating a shooting that has killed one person in Dundas, Ont.
Police say officers were called to the area of 77 Governors Road around 5 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.
Upon arrival, they located a man who was unresponsive and later pronounced dead at the scene. He has been identified as 25-year-old Zachary Shuman.

Investigators say a vehicle belonging to Shuman was also discovered nearby.
“Witnesses observed a blue Ford Edge leaving the scene,” Hamilton police said in a news release issued on Monday. “The vehicle has not been recovered, and we are asking anyone with information about the vehicle or driver to contact investigators.”
Police say there was brief interaction between the drivers of the two vehicles at the Metro parking lot at 15 Governors Road, prior to the shooting.

Investigators believe that there was also a female witness who was in the area at the time of the shooting. She is described as having shoulder-length brown hair and was last seen wearing either red or orange shorts.
“We ask that she please comes forward to speak with investigators,” Hamilton police added.
