Police investigating Brampton house fire

Peel police are investigating an early-morning fire at a home in Brampton.

Emergency crews were called to the home on Saddlecreek Court near Highway 407 and McLaughlin Road South around 4:40 a.m. on Wednesday.

Police say the house was evacuated along with neighbouring homes.

No injuries have been reported.

Police initially told 680 NewsRadio they were investigating the fire as an arson. However, in a later update, said the fire is not currently being treated as arson and the cause is still under investigation.
