One man suffered critical injuries in a single-vehicle crash in North York.
Toronto police say around 9:15 p.m. Saturday, a red Hyundai Genesis was travelling at a high rate of speed when the driver lost control and the car left the roadway, striking a tree near Linkwood Lane and Shady Golfway, south of Eglinton Avenue East.
Photos from the scene show a red sedan with severe damage wedged between a tree and a cement noise barrier.
Police say one of the passengers in the car was taken to a hospital with life-threatening injuries, while the two other passengers and the driver suffered minor injuries.
There was no immediate word of any charges.
