A Toronto man is facing a murder charge after a deadly stabbing that happened near Centerpoint Mall over the weekend.
Emergency crews were called to an apartment building on Tangreen Court, near Steeles and Hilda Avenues, just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday.
When officers arrived at the scene they discovered a man suffering from stab wounds. Life-saving measures were attempted, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
He has been identified as 57-year-old Albert Gundran of Vaughan.

Police arrested the suspect — 46-year-old Meir Cohen — at the scene and charged him with second-degree murder.
Detectives said Cohen and Gundran were involved in a physical altercation before the stabbing.
