It’s been one of the most distinctive restaurants in the Waterloo Region and Guelph area for decades, but Aberfoyle Mill is closed.

A message posted on the venue’s website said:

“We will like to thank all of our wonderful customers over the last 35 years that we had the pleasure of serving at the Aberfoyle Mill.”

It went on to say, “Unfortunately as many are aware the economy over the last few years has not been as robust as before COVID. It has made business in our industry very difficult. So it is with heavy hearts that we close this chapter at the Mill.”

The message is the only thing currently on the website.

The restaurant operated out of an historic stone building on Brock Road South in Puslinch, north of the 401 and near the Aberfoyle Antique Market.
