Waterloo Regional Police have arrested a 43-year-old man after a house fire in North Dumfries.
The incident happened around 2:30 in the afternoon on Monday August 4 in the area of Gourley Farm Lane.
No one was injured in the fire.
Roads in the area were closed for the investigation, but have since reopened.
The suspect is being held for a bail hearing.
