With positive temperatures in the forecast for the weekend, it may be the perfect time to get out in the yard for some spring cleaning.
To help clear that waste from people’s property, the Region of Waterloo has once again started its yard waste collection program.
The region is encouraging you to use your old green bin for yard waste collection this year.
Simply attach a yellow yard waste tag to your bin or bag at the curb. Those tags can be picked up at any municipal office or library.
Those unable to make it to one of the locations, the region noted that they can attach a brightly coloured ribbon instead.
Yard waste is collected at the curb at 7 a.m. A full schedule can be found here.
