Trailer containing $80K worth of whipped cream stolen

Hold on to your strawberries, Guelph Police are looking for answers after $80,000 worth of whipped cream was reported stolen from a Royal City business.

Wednesday morning, police were called to the Speedvale Avenue West area to reports of a trailer being stolen earlier that day.

The trailer was reportedly hooked up and towed away around 4:30 a.m.

Police said it was a white Wabash refrigerated trailer containing 30 pallets of Gay Lea-branded whipped cream.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
