Two incidents over the weekend involving weapons and vehicles have the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) investigating.
On Saturday afternoon, officers responded to a reported road rage incident in Cambridge.
It happened around 3:20 p.m. in the Hespeler and Dunbar roads area, which officials say involved two drivers in an altercation.
Police said one of the motorists was seen with a large knife, but there were no injuries.
A 21-year-old Cambridge man was arrested and charged with assault, weapons, and mischief offences.
Then, on Sunday night, police were called to the Patricia Avenue and Victoria Street South area of Kitchener due to a reported altercation.
According to police, there was a confrontation between two pedestrians and two unknown males who were in a vehicle, described as an older black sedan.
Witnesses said weapons were involved, and one of the pedestrians was transported to hospital with minor injuries.
Descriptions of the two male suspects in the vehicle have been released.
