A scary incident in Waterloo has regional police looking to identify four suspects in a home invasion.
Around midnight, Wednesday morning, four masked individuals entered a home in the Margaret Avenue North and Washington Avenue area of Waterloo.
The occupant was assaulted with a weapon before the suspects fled in an unknown vehicle.
Injuries were minor and treated on scene by paramedics.
Police believe this was a targeted incident and have been able to determine three of the suspects were male and one was female.
Investigators are asking residents living in the Margaret Ave., Washington Ave., and Lincoln Rd. to check their security camera footage from between 7 p.m. Tuesday to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, for any suspicious people or vehicles.
