Police investigating 'suspicious' death of Cambridge woman

Regional police are investigating after a Cambridge woman was found dead in North Dumfries on Friday.

According to the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS), 36-year-old Elizabeth Spurgeon was found dead in the area of West River Road and Brant-Waterloo Road during the early morning hours.

Regional police are calling the death “suspicious,” and are asking the public for any information relating to Spurgeon’s whereabouts in the days leading up to Friday morning.
