Police are trying to identify a person of interest after recent voyeurism incidents at malls in K-W.
Initially, the Waterloo Regional Police Service (WRPS) released a photo of a male they were hoping to speak to in connection with an act of voyeurism at Waterloo’s Conestoga Mall.
The incident was reported July 21 around 7 p.m. as a man was allegedly caught recording females inside a store with a device that was attached to his shoe.
Staff confronted the man and he fled the scene.
Police have now connected the same individual to a voyeurism incident at Fairview Mall in Kitchener on July 9.
In that case, a man allegedly recorded someone while they were changing in a private stall within a store.
If you have any information, contact WRPS at 519-570-9777 ext. 4496 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers.
