Kitchener Rangers to fly championship banner in September home opener

After an incredible and historic season, the Kitchener Rangers are gearing up for the next one.

Rangers fans can mark their calendars for the home and season opener of the 2026-27 season.

Friday night hockey comes back to the Kitchener Memorial Auditorium on Sept. 18 against the Owen Sound Attack.

That night will also see the team’s championship banner raised.

A championship season laid the foundation. Now it's time to build what's next.

The Blueshirts won not only the OHL Championship but the Memorial Cup as well.

The Rangers went a perfect 4-0 in Kelowna to claim the club’s third Memorial Cup title in franchise history.
