Another hat trick hero for the Kitchener Rangers, who are now in a position to eliminate the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds.

Dylan Edwards gets the title this time, with a 4-3 final.

“I don’t know, I’m just playing good hockey right now, I like my game,” said Edwards, who also nabbed the game-winning goal.

The win puts the Rangers up 3-0 in the best-of-seven playoff series.

“Those guys won’t give up. I know it’s a tough spot to be in for them, and for us I think we’re in a great spot right now but we can’t let up the gas.”

Tuesday night’s win didn’t come easy, with a back-and-forth scoreboard all game.

“Closing the series is the hardest game,” said Head Coach Jussi Ahokas.

“We know we have to keep playing hard, keep doing the right things, because Soo has played really hard.”

Game 4 is Thursday night, still in the Soo. If needed, Game 5 comes back to Kitchener the very next night, on Friday.
