Gunpoint robbery in Elmira under investigation

A gunpoint robbery in Elmira is under investigation.

Police say two victims were outside a business in the Union Street and Bonnie Crescent area when they were held up by a man with a handgun.

The victims had their personal property and cash stolen, but no injuries were reported. The incident happened around 2:15 p.m.

The suspect was last seen hopping into the back seat of a black sedan and is described as a male who was dressed in all-black and wearing a face covering.
