Guelph police searching for suspect who robbed north-end business with knife

Police in the Royal City are looking for a male suspect after a theft at a north-end business on Sunday.

According to the Guelph Police Service, officers responded to reports of a theft at a business on Silvercreek Parkway North.

A man reportedly entered the store wearing a black balaclava and selected a watch from the display. He proceeded to shove the watch into his waistband before heading to the washroom.

When the suspect exited the washroom, he passed an employee on his way out of the store, lifting his shirt to reveal a black-handled knife.

According to Guelph police, the man was white, in his mid-30s, around 5’11” with a thin build, a black baseball jersey, jeans, and a black baseball cap.
