
Conestoga Mall in Waterloo has officially stated it will be reopening Friday, after an apparent power outage forced it to close the day before.
It comes as the mall posted on its social media on Thursday, stating the it had fully closed due to a reported power outage that impacted its stores.
570 NewsRadio reached out for comment on the situation, but no direct information was given as to the reasoning for the outage.
The closure remained in effect as early as 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, when paper signs were still hanging on the front doors, which stated Conestoga Mall remained temporarily closed, and to please check the website and social media accounts for updates.
The mall will now officially reopen at its regular hours, currently slated for 10:00 a.m.
