
Wellington County OPP say a driver from Waterloo Region was among five people hospitalized in a serious two-car crash on Canada Day.
The collision was reported July 1 around 11 p.m. on Wellington Road 86, near Ariss.
OPP confirm one of the drivers is from Woolwich Township, while the other driver and three passengers are from Puslinch.
One of the passengers is a 16-year-old who sustained life-altering injuries resulting from the crash.
The other four individuals sustained serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The collision resulted in an overnight closure on Wellington Road 86 between Eighth Line East and Sideroad 16.
